Understanding psychology services for ADF/Veterans
My dad is a career soldier who served in the Vietnam war. Having dad coming and going was a normal part of my childhood, but I could see the effect it had on both mum and dad as they adjusted to the soldier life.
Meeting many of dad’s soldier mates, I’ve been hanging out with veterans for the past 20 years. I love their no-nonsense approach to most things in life. It was one of these veterans who played a major role in helping me through rough patches in my life.
So, it’s time I give back to those who selflessly served our country.
I enjoy working with veterans (or those currently serving in our ADF), their partners, and their children.
To help you have access to Psychology services, I happily accept Department of Veteran’s Affairs referrals (White or Gold cards).
